Many of our partners have setup LinkWords on their site(s) and are starting to see LinkWord Ads appear within their content. We wanted to send a message to all of our partners to notify you LinkWords is out of beta and available in your account. This new product is a great way to earn additional advertising dollars and the setup is very easy.

Login to your account and look for the LINKWORDS menu option. The first page will be your settings and you must select the website from the drop down menu, and then follow the directions on this page to set it up. We even provide different styles of how the ads are shown with more to come. Just be sure once you have selected each option that you save/submit for the changes to take affect.

Key steps to ensure you setup LinkWords correctly on your pages; there are 3 code snips we provide for you to put on your page(s). If you have a very large site, using includes is probably the best bet. But here are key factors to make sure it is setup correctly:

 1. The opening <DIV id=lw_context_ads> should be put where you want our software to begin reading text to find keywords. So if there is content you do not want ads to appear, be sure it is not located between the opening DIV tag and the closing DIV tag.

 2. Place the closing </DIV> where you want our software to stop reading your content. The trick is our software will extract keywords between the DIV tags you place. If you have no content between the DIV tags, then there will be nothing to read and no ads will appear.

 3. The most important step is placing our JavaScript code at the very bottom of your page. The best place is directly above the closing </body> tag. If this code is placed in the middle of the page or towards the top, it will not work and could cause the page to abort and not load. So make sure to place the JavaScript at the very bottom before the </body> tag.

Our system will learn as it goes so if your site is producing keyword matches, high click thru's from unique visitors, it will show more ads on your site. So jump in while it's new and get a leg up on everyone else.
